Elizabeth Martin, a member of the Suburban Garden Club of Germantown, recently created a stunning floral display to adorn and celebrate the first IRIS Orchestra concert held at the Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC) since early 2020 when coronavirus concerns arose.

Both IRIS and GPAC expressed gratitude for the beautiful arrangement and Elizabeth’s exceptional talent with a plaque. Michael Stern, conductor and artistic director, thanked the club and Elizabeth from the stage.

Other Suburban Garden Club members are also honing their floral arranging skills in anticipation of the club’s 2022 flower show, “Alice in Wonderland—Through the Looking Glass,” to be held on April 27, 2022, at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Germantown.
